Whether in the form of financial contributions, shared intellectual capital, in-kind resources or volunteerism, CAREERS' current and future success is inherently due to the contributions from those committed to community capacity-building through youth and education.
In 2005, CAREERS helped 1,479 students test drive careers in health services, trades and technoligoies, forestry, roadbuilding and oil and gas. We also assisted more than 40 Aboriginal communities in addressing their soci-economic needs. We helped employers attract and retain future employees. We created awareness of career opportunities for junior and senior high school students.
None of this wouldbe possible without support from our investors.
When you make a donation to CAREERS, you're making a contribution to Alberta's future by:
- Helping build a larger talent pool of workers to sustain economic growth.
- Promoting a stay-in-school message to our province's young people.
- Assisting Aboriginal communities in engaging their local workforce.
Additionally, eachinvestor of CAREERS is recognized through our Investment Program.
